Jeffery Patza - Attorney

Attorney Jeffrey Patza has 15 years of experience representing clients in a wide variety of civil rights claims. Mr. Patza has achieved successful results in cases involving wrongful death, excessive force, illegal searches and seizures, false arrests, and the failure to provide medical attention.

Mr. Patza obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and was Certified in Integrated Liberal Studies. While in college, Mr. Patza was a member of the Alpha Delta Phi Literary Society and was active in intramural sports.

After college, Mr. Patza received his law degree from Marquette University Law School. During law school, Mr. Patza was a member of the Marquette Law Review and held a leadership position on the Moot Court Board.

Following law school, Mr. Patza served as a law clerk for Justice N. Patrick Crooks of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Justice Crooks taught Mr. Patza about the importance of the court system in obtaining justice for all people. Justice Crooks' kindness, honesty, and work ethic continue to inspire Mr. Patza.

Mr. Patza began his legal practice in civil litigation involving contract disputes, medical malpractice, construction cases, and product liability. Mr. Patza also gained experience in insurance coverage matters and environmental remediation.

In 2007, Mr. Patza began his career as a civil rights lawyer. Mr. Patza was part of a team that won some of the largest civil rights case settlements in Wisconsin history.

Mr. Patza is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States District Court for Wisconsin's Eastern and Western Districts, and the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
